Position: Parts Department Representative

Locations: Shipshewana, IN

Description:Growing Worldwide Agricultural Machinery Company seeks detail oriented individual to support its Parts Department in Shipshewana, Indiana.

If you are looking for a challenging position, this might be the job for you! Oxbo is looking for someone who will help grow our retail parts sales at our Shipshewana, Indiana location. In this position you will be responsible for interacting with customers, taking orders, packaging and shipping/receiving parts via UPS, FEDEX and other freight carriers. You will also be involved with conducting regular cycle counts and assisting in maintaining proper inventory levels and organization of the parts inventory area. Interaction with other company personnel (sales/service) will be a part of your daily activities.

Qualifications include:

  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize and pay attention to detail is crucial. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities is required.
  • Computer and analytical skills required, including ability to navigate shipping websites to get quotes for shipments, print labels and paperwork, create POs and order parts accurately and timely.
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Capable of lifting heavy parts—on occasion up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong customer service skills and orientation required.
  • Familiarity with the work of a parts department; minimum of two years experience in a parts environment preferred. Agricultural equipment knowledge helpful.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Position: Technical Support Representative - Precision

Description: As Technical Support Representative, you will work with Oxbo customers and team members to give support and guidance with all aspects of precision technology, including guidance systems, mapping, displays, telematics, installation and service tools.

On the Oxbo team, you will be part of the solution as you provide high level technical expertise to Oxbo sales and service staff as part of our effort to help our customers bring in the harvest. We have a passion for agriculture; we value innovation, integrity and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical support to domestic sale and service staff on precision products by developing reference guides, training opportunities and other tools.
  • Assist customers and technicians in person in the field and over the phone with technical questions and troubleshooting solutions.
  • Develop and deliver technical and operator training for each critical product line as precision is integrated into the line
  • Work with strategic suppliers to develop training sets for service staff at Oxbo locations
  • Provide expertise, experience, and support to product mangers, teams, and equipment designers for current and future product offerings

Desired Skills & Experience:

The Ideal Candidate will be an excellent communicator able to work well in a team environment. You must have hands on experience with Ag Leader precision equipment, possess precision agriculture market knowledge and be able to communicate with supplier developers and programmers on high level technical issues. Familiarity with Raven, John Deere, and Trimble precision products is also preferred. You must be capable of providing a high level of customer support, (dealer support, if applicable) and support of other Oxbo internal departments. This position requires good people skills, time management and organizational skills.

Ideally, you would have Bachelor of Science degree in a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.

Travel is required—up to 30%; international travel may be required for trouble shooting and training.


Position: Service Technician

Description: Growing Worldwide Agricultural Machinery Company seeks ambitious, responsible individuals for machine support, preventative maintenance, scheduled repair operations, and emergency service on our products.

You will ensure quality technical customer support through proficient diagnosis and sound problem solving in a timely manner. These duties will be performed at our location or directly at the customer's site.

Qualifications include:

  • Vocational training, or a minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical technology.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills and the ability to apply this knowledge to Oxbo products.
  • Maintenance knowledge, customer-service orientation, and an ability to work from blueprints, manuals and schematics
  • Clean driving record

You must be able to effectively and efficiently interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level. Successful candidates will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, be able to prioritize and multi task within our fast paced environment. You must be safety conscious and committed to following company safety policies. Oxbo Technicians perform emergency after-hours service on a rotating basis, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.


Position: Design Engineer Location: Byron, NY or Clear Lake, WI  
Description: Design Engineers work closely with Oxbo International manufacturing and sales teams to create and support innovative new designs and customer applications. A successful Design Engineer is detail-oriented, proficient in Solidworks, able to learn new concepts/techniques rapidly; he or she is a strong team player with a strong mechanical and technical background. An Oxbo Engineer will go the extra mile with the team to exceed customer expectations. Able to operate independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment, Design Engineers can switch gears quickly to meet project requirements and assure that design features, dimensions, tolerances and allowances conform to functional and manufacturing requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience: If you are an excellent communicator who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment, Oxbo might be a good fit in your career path. Ideally you will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering. In addition, we require:

  • At least three years experience in the design or manufacture of agricultural equipment or off-road machinery.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D solid modeling software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

A strong candidate will also have:

  • Experience with engines and cooling systems application, or exhaust aftertreatment
  • Experience with off-road vehicle hydraulics, powertrain or drivetrain systems, electrical, and/or software development
  • Product or component test experience
  • Working knowledge of engineering analysis tools, such as; ALGOR, Solidworks Simulation, or similar
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and application of engineering standards, state and federal laws and regulations related to agricultural equipment
  • Experience in producing detailed engineering drawings and documentation

Position: Hydraulics Engineer Location: Clear Lake, WI  

Description: As a Hydraulic Engineer you will be responsible for hydraulic system and component design for harvester product development. In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Implement designs to have product, division, and enterprise commonality
  • Develop solutions that meet goals related to performance, quality, cost, and schedule
  • Work with suppliers, supporting the development of new hydraulic components and plumbing kits
  • Design and implement test plans to validate design solutions
  • Support investigation on current production hydraulic components identified in warranty
  • Provide technical expertise to team members manufacturing, servicing and field troubleshooting our products

Desired Skills & Experience: The Ideal Candidate: To be successful, you must be an excellent communicator able to work well in a team environment. Ideally, you would have Bachelor of Science degree in a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, related discipline and/or equivalent work experience. We also require the following experience which can be fulfilled through an internship as well as practical experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
  • Understanding and knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling software.

A strong candidate will also have:

  • Experience working with hydraulic systems and components on mobile and/or off highway equipment
  • Experience with Sauer-Danfoss Plus 1 Guide control system programming
  • Familiarity with Hydraulic suppliers and the industry
  • Hydraulic Specialist Certification (CFPHS) from the International Fluid Power Society
